SERVICE · EAST & WEST MIDLANDS
Garage, loft & garden clearance.
The bits of the house everyone puts off. Garages full of tools nobody uses any more. Lofts packed with boxes that have been there since the move. Gardens with sheds that need taking down and waste that's piled up over winter. We handle all of it — fixed price, no fuss.
● 5.0 ★★★★★ on Google ● Up to 95% reused or recycled ● Fixed-price written quotes ● Waste transfer notes provided ● Fully insured clearance team
Three jobs that come up most often
Sometimes one, sometimes all of them — we quote them as one job and do the lot in a day.
Garage clearance
Old furniture, paint cans, tools, broken white goods, bikes, the kids' old toys.
Loft clearance
Boxes from house moves, "just in case" furniture, old insulation, water tanks.
Garden & shed
Garden furniture, broken trampolines, hot tubs, sheds for taking down, piles of garden waste.
All three at once
Often before a sale or after a move — clearing top to bottom in a single day.
The £50 minimum applies to single call-outs. Booking multiple items? It often works out cheaper as a small van load — see our pricing page for the full breakdown.

Garage, loft & garden pricing
Most of these jobs are priced by van load. As a rough guide for the Midlands:
-
Single garage clearance — usually a ½ van load (£220) for an average garage; up to a full van (£450) if very full
-
Loft clearance — similar, depending on access and volume
-
Garden waste only — often a ¼ to ½ van (£130–£220)
-
Shed dismantle and remove — ½ to ¾ van (£220–£300) depending on size and access
-
Hot tub removal — quoted individually; usually £150–£300 for dismantle and remove
If we find anything saleable during clearance — old tools, vintage garden equipment, branded furniture — we'll always tell you, and the value can be offset against the final cost.
What's included — and what we can't take
What we can take
General household items, furniture, electricals, white goods
Garden waste — branches, leaves, soil, turf in reasonable amounts
Broken garden furniture, BBQs, plant pots, planters
Sheds, summerhouses, outbuildings (dismantled on the day)
Children's outdoor equipment — trampolines, swing sets, slides
Old fencing, decking, gravel and paving slabs (in reasonable amounts)
Items we cannot take
Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
Clinical or medical waste, sharps
Large quantities of paint, oil, or chemicals
Gas cylinders (industrial size — though we DO take gas bottles, listed in pricing)
For anything we can't take, we'll point you to the right specialist route — usually a council hazardous waste centre or a licensed contractor.
How long does it take?
Garage clearances typically take 2–3 hours for an average garage. Loft work is usually slower because of access (and more careful lifting). Garden and shed jobs vary the most — a single shed dismantle is 30–60 minutes; a full garden clearance with hot tub and decking can take a full day. Tell us what's there and we'll be specific.

What's involved
Each space has its own quirks. Here's how we typically handle each:
Garage clearance - A team of two for most garages. We sort as we go: anything saleable or donatable is set aside, white goods and electricals routed for proper recycling, paint and chemicals identified and either taken (small amounts) or flagged for specialist disposal. Most garages clear in two to three hours.
Loft clearance - Loft work is slower because of access. We bring the right ladders and lift everything down ourselves. If you've been putting it off because of the climb, that's understandable — we've done lofts that haven't been touched for thirty years. No judgement, just careful work.
Garden, shed & outbuilding clearance - Sheds we can dismantle on the day. Garden waste — old plants, soil, broken pots, decking, fencing — all goes through licensed garden waste recycling. Hot tubs, trampolines, swing sets all dismantled and removed. If there's heavy lifting required for paving slabs or large landscaping items, tell us when you call so we send the right team.
